Pratyusha

Pratyusha is known for starting a blog and killing it. She has done it more times than you have fingers on your right hand. She believes the curse is having the power to delete it all. She’s writing for Anicca to remove that power. It’s a truth universally acknowledged that she writes more about eldest brown daughters and ghosts of past, present, and future. But she wants to write about other things too. Like, imaginary boyfriends and energy conservation for introverts. Or Taylor Swift.

On her good days, she wears three crowns and a cape, and conquers her to-do lists like a superhero. On her bad days, she disappears (again, like a superhero). She reads as if her life depends on it. She writes as if that’s the only reason she’s alive. Her short story, Forever Twenty-One, was a silent love-hate triangle between a daughter, her inner voice, and her mother. When she feels social, she runs a book club for authors in Kolkata, Literary Adda, where they attempt to read like a writer and talk about cats.
